Your Human Design Strategy

Although we’ve been conditioned to think otherwise I do not believe that we are here to fit in, to replicate sameness or to stay small and homogenized. I DO however believe that we are here to THRIVE in our uniqueness and express our desires freely! 

From a Human Design stand point everything we want is already built into us, Ie. Our souls (knowing that we would one day veer off track) chose specific signposts to help navigate us back home, to everything we are, and everything we’ve ever wanted

Within your HD chart there are specific components such as your STRATEGY that act as a compass to guide you back to your truest nature

Your strategy is also the way you energy type is built to attract opportunities and synchronicities into your life!

By following your own unique strategy rather than forcing or “shoulding” yourself into a narrow or conventional pathway you literally free up space for more feel good sensations, while drawing in less of those mehhh situations!

Reflectors of Human Design

So ya wanna learn about Reflectors? Let’s delve in, shall we 💛

If you didn’t know already Reflectors are the rarest energy type in Human Design, making up less than 1% of the population!

With none of their energy centres colored in they literally act as funnels for everyone else’s energy to filter through

It also means that they hold none of their own defined centres to act as buffers to the outer world

Because of their adaptive/chameleon nature it is extremely important for Reflectors to maintain a discerning eye when it comes to people & environments that they choose to surround themselves with!

When Reflectors allow themselves to dance with the array of energy & flavour that life has to offer they tap into their signature theme of SURPRISE

In doing so they remind us all of the magic that lies on the other side of any societally constructed labels/definitions of what it means to be human

Not only do they hold deep wisdom that pierces through any unnecessary fluff but they also REFLECT back to us our current condition as a society

That’s why they say Reflectors are meant to live in the centre of their tribe. They are the true seers who mirror back to us what we need to know in order to evolve as a collective!

Due to your hybrid nature and the fact that you’re basically super humans, I thought it only fair to share a bit of extra info around your process of exchanging energy!

MG’s, once you feel you’ve learned what you need from an experience/situation/relationship you spend little to no time hesitating before jumping to your next adventure

Often doing a thousand things at once, you come across as very capable. But just because you can doesn’t necessarily mean that you SHOULD

The process of exchanging energy as a Manifesting Generator is very unique and anything but linear!

Here to remind us of the juicy goodness that lies in following a non-linear, authentic path, your relationship with energy is to create, forge and play!

Being a mix of Generator and Manifestor, you have both the ability to initiate as well as generate the energy needed to follow through and make shit happen.

In harnessing your different speeds at their appropriate time you tap into that feel good, everything’s in alignment and I’m blissed out on life kinda feel! Also known in Human Design as your signature theme of SATISFACTION 🙌🏻

Knowing when and how to lean into each energy is key for your ultimate fulfillment!

At times, you may feel caught between your impulsive, initiating energy and the need to wait for that yes/no direction from your gut

Although your gut works in a slightly more spontaneous way then the urges of a generator, for you, it’s all about honing your process and becoming super clear on when to jump into action and when to be more responsive

You have the ability to move the quickest of all energy types but will likely course correct more often

Today, allow yourself the space to change your mind as you go, notice the effect it has on your overall happiness!

Projectors of HD

Projectors are non-energy beings that make up just over 20% of the world’s population 🌎

Each projector comes into this world with their own unique way of seeing things! Whether that’s mastering a system, efficiency gains, reading into people or modifying what’s already been created.

Projectors, it is in your destiny to be recognized and ultimately reap success in your area of expertise! But with your strategy of waiting for the invitation, knowing the correct time to share your unique gifts with the world is KEY

If you’re unsure of where your special skill lies, lean into what comes naturally to you & get curious with where your interest resides

Given that Generators are the most predominant energy type on the planet, look forward to many more posts to come! In the meantime here are a few little insights about these magical beings✨

• Generators are here to RESPOND to life by listening to and honouring their gut impulses,

• They are here to create, share and as the name entails, generate energy!

• When using their energy correctly ie. Listening to their gut and following what lights them up, they create even more energy that then spills out into the rest of the world 🌍

• The more they say NO to what they think they “should” be doing rather then what they’re truly craving in the moment, the more space they create for YES’S to come in (which totally amplifies their already magnetic aura!)

Manifesters are designed to inform, initiate and inspire us with their trailblazing energy! They hold a natural ability to create waves as well as build momentum wherever they go

When Manifestors are harnessing their powerhouse energy and listening to their strategy they flow effortlessly with their signature theme of PEACE

Unlike the process of the other four energy types there’s no waiting for anything or anyone in order to act! That’s right, no permission slip needed to get moving!

However, due to societal conditioning and the confining ways in which most Manifestors are raised it’s not uncommon to find them people pleasing and/or shying away from their powerful energy

So, note to all ya’ll badass Manifestors! Trust that by standing in your own you will attract the right people, who love and value you for none other than YOU!

• What aspect of myself am I shying away from at the risk of being too big or in my power?

• Where am I feeling boxed in? How can I create more freedom for myself in this situation?

• How can I create a safe space for me to stand in my own and put myself first?

Uniqueness within a chart

One of my favourite aspects of Human Design is the individuality that can be identified within each chart. Take generators for example, although they are the most prevalent energy type, making up the bulk of the world’s population they can still act, respond and manifest in uniquely different ways!

Over the next little while I’ll be introducing each of the five energy types of Human Design and layering on to each as time allows.

My hope, is that the info shared can act as a permission slip for you to jump out of any societally created box, and not back into one, or into a new one that looks a lot like the old one! 😇

Owning Our Natural Essence

What if we stopped negating our natural talents and instead gave them a voice, a platform, the space that they deserve to shine? 

What if we just focused on what comes naturally to us?

What if we started owning our innate superpowers as part of our intrinsic design?

What if the most effective way for us to truly be of service to the world is by following our gut impulses/desires while allowing the juicy overflow to spread and positively uplift those around us?

AND what if by leaning into all of this we actually gain energy rather than deplete ourselves?

Human Design has opened up many avenues for me, but the most important one? My authentic Hailey lane! By tapping into my own resources to harness my individual authority, HD allows me to understand where I’ve been giving away my power to external sources, leaving me with feelings of lacking my own strength. 

The questions above have been extremely helpful in allowing me to harness that inner power, as well as remind me to DO ME when I’m feeling off track. Perhaps they’ll lend you some reflection as well!

5 Energy types of Human Design

Let’s chat Energy types

One of the most, if not THE most important component of your Human Design chart is your ENERGY TYPE, which is the way you’re designed to exchange energy with the world around you. As you start to eliminate the gunk that’s blocking you from your own unique energy you create space for opportunities to flow to YOU! 🌊

I like to think of this freeing up process to the likes of cleaning out your closet, an efficient way of organizing and directing your own innate resources!

From my experience this unravelling of the web, if you will 😉 leads to shit becoming reeeal fluid, maybe not right away but certainly in time if you stick with it!

Interactions with the outer world start to feel effortless, maybe even serendipitous, you may find yourself sharing more authentic energy because you’re just so friggen jazzed on life that it’s literally oozing out of you!

On the contrary, we all know that feeling of using our energy incorrectly, bogged down by our “not self” themes, literally giving it everything you’ve got yet feeling like you’re being met with nothing but blocks, crickets, stagnation or walls!

Due to the restrictive nature of our upbringings and societal conditioning it’s not abnormal to hold uncertainty around what comes naturally to us, what it feels like to floow in our own energy OR what we’re designed to master while on this plane! Especially if we’ve never been encouraged to tap into our own innate gifts. In my next post I’ll be delving into each energy type and how they’re uniquely designed to exchange energy with the world around them, stay tuned! 💫

Human Design – An Introduction

So, let’s get into it! But let’s do this in bite sized bits so we can layer on as we go!

For starters, Human Design (HD) is a system of self-knowledge that allows you to experiment with its technique to find out firsthand whether it works for you – which totally puts the power in your hands as to how to implement the info into your own life!

Derived from conventional Astrology, the Chakras, the Kabbalistic tree of life and the I-Ching, the combo of these four lineages offer deep insight into how you are designed to navigate the material plane.

HD shows you a map (also known as a body graph or design chart) of your own nature, providing you with simple tools to navigate life with the least amount of resistance. On a practical level, it allows you to access your body’s consciousness as your main decision maker, rather than rely on the inconsistency of your fluctuating mind!
